Robert E. Norton graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2002, with honors as a Presidential Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa member. Rob worked as a policy intern at the White House in the National Economic Council during the summer of 2001. Rob received his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2007, with recognition as the most outstanding student in Negotiations.
Rob’s practice is devoted to litigation across a variety of practice areas. Rob has represented and successfully defended clients ranging from Fortune 500 and Dow Jones 30 companies to regional investment advisory firms, local small businesses, and individuals. Rob’s practice specializes in insurance coverage, professional and medical malpractice, and automobile and premises liability. Rob and his wife, Misti, enjoy traveling with their two children and are members of Independent Presbyterian Church. He is a supporter of the arts, having served as past president of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra junior board and on the junior board for Opera Birmingham. Rob also enjoys playing golf, guitar, and driving in sports car track day events.
